Who am I, well Jacob Tanner of course! I really like to be called Jake though so you should do that. I want to try out blogging to let people know what I'm trying to do, which is start an online social networking site for online video gamers called MyGamerConnections.com I want people to see what I go through trying to start this society and if I succeed or fail but more importantly the journey I go through. How many 20 year olds try to start their own company in college and go for it? I'm not sure but few that I've talked to have really tried doing something to this extent. I'm a junior at Suny Oswego in New York at the moment and hope to graduate with a BA in Business Administration. If you want to know any more of the boring stuff let me know!
My goal with this new site it really connect players on another level and enhance the online gaming experience. Find people that are like you that you can get along with and are on the same skill level as you to play. Find people that even live near you to play and maybe become good friends with for the love of the same games, who knows? I really see lots of options with this site and have some great ideas for it. Just getting the following and support for this community is the biggest obstacle.
